About Varama

Vanessa Jane Davies is a skin camouflage expert, having been a practitioner for 17 years. She has also worked in consultancy and education and is an established expert witness for skin trauma cases.

As a family business, the unique name of Varama is made up by the combination of the names of Vanessa and her two children, Rachel and Mark. Vanessa founded Varama in 2010 with the aim of bridging the knowledge gap that currently exists about skin camouflage products and enabling the consumer to have direct access to the benefits they provide.

With the launch of Varama cover creams, the aim is to provide a product which is simple to blend and easy to apply. The versatile colour range offers variants for white, Asian and black skins across all ages and is suitable for all pigmentation problems as well as scars, burns, bruises and birthmarks. Unlike older formulations, no setting agent is required.

As our website grows, we aim to provide as broad an information resource as possible, covering as many aspects of skin camouflage as we can. We will also provide links to associated websites and groups where you can find further information, as well as access to registered practitioners if required.

However, one of the most important aspects of the Varama range is that it enables individuals to take control and manage their own appearance. We believe this to be a major step forward, both physically and psychologically, so that Varama can provide the confidence boost to carry on life as normal.

Clinical camouflage services are available at our London practise. Please call 0207 467 8466 for an appointment.
